 Operating steps:

Plug in connectors on unit.You will notice there is no main  power switch.When you plug in the DC power plug,the unit will power  up.It is designed this way so that the unit can power down on it's own  after 30 minutes without activity.Unit will power back up upon any  operator input including foot switch activation.Your power supply is  now ready.

Verify that the supplied AC power adapter cable is the correct model  for your country's power standard.Plug the AC cable into the AC power  adapter and then into the wall oulet.

                            The HP-2 operation is simple.
Voltage adjustment:Use the up and down arrow buttons to adjust  voltage.The default adjustment resolution is 1(1/10)volt,you can change  this value in the config menu.When you adjust these values,they are  stored in the power supply memory even in the event of power down.

Presets:The power supply is shipped in 2 machine modes,in two machine  modes there is one voltage preset for the L button and one for the S  button.In the config menu.you can change to 4 machine modes.In 4  machine modes there are two presets for each of the L and S  buttons.Pressing the L button will access and toggle between the two  liner presets and pressing S button will access and toggle between the  two shader presets.

Foot Switch Modes:Your HP-2 foot switch mode options.Momentary mode is  the conventional operation mode that most artists are using to where  power is supplier to the machine only when the pedal is  actuated.Maintained mode functions as a typical maintained switch "push  on ,push off"careful not to leave maintained mode activated while  machine is unattended or bound up.This situation could damage the power  supply or even your machine.One example of a bound up machine is when  ink dries in your tube and your A-bar cannot break the needles free.To  toggle between maintain mode and momentary mode,press and hold the L or  S button for 1.5 sec.

The HP-2 operation is quite simple.Now your unit is powered up and  ready to use in wired,momentary foot switch operation mode.Use the L/S  button to select between the liner and shader persets.Use the UP/Down  arrow button to adjust voltage.The pre-programmed presets are 5 volts  for the liner and 7 volts for the shader.When you adjust these values  it is stored in the power supply memory even in the event of power  down.

Stop Watch operation is as follows:The clock button performs four  functions:start,stop,resume and reset.When the stop watch is not  counting,pressing the button starts or resumes the clock count.When  counting,pressing the button stops the count but does not reset it.When  pressing and holding the clock button for approx,3 seconds the stop  watch will reset.The stop watch will not count when power supply is in  sleep mode.

The access Configuration Menu,press and hold the L and S buttons at the  same time for approx.3 Seconds.Use the L or S button to index thru the  setting,when the setting you want to change in blinking,use either one  of the arrow buttons to change the setting.When you are happy with the  setting press the clock button once to save and exit configuration  menu.
