The first thing is the place that is doing your piercing has a good reputation, and also they must use sterile products. Make sure the workers has a great deal of experience and wear gloves before the piercing is process.

After you get the piercing, you should remember to ask the professional for properly care, and you should follow. It normally takes six or eight weeks for it to heal, you should take more care before it heal. Keep in mind don’t let your eyebrow piercing jewelry snaged by anything like your clothes, pillow, etc. And the most important thing is keep your hands clean whenever you touching your piercing jewelry. It is best to use an anti-bacterial soap for your hands and to clean to piercing itself. Clean to area at least twice a day.

Make sure check the tightness of the eyebrow piercing every day and tighten it to the right. If your piercing develops a scab which is normal, do not remove the piercing, it needs to stay in place to act as a drain for the piercing. Do not go swimming until the piercing is completely healed. There are millions of bacteria in water and can cause an infection. Also do not move your ring or barbell either, this can make the piercing take longer to heal.

If you have redness for an extended amount of time or to much pain it may be a sign of infection and you should either see your doctor or the one that pierced your eyebrow. If you need to hide your piercing for any reasons, refer to:
